Giving Back

At The Closing Girls, we firmly believe in the power of giving back to the community. It’s a core value that drives us, reflecting our commitment to making a positive impact beyond our business activities. We understand that our success is intertwined with the well-being of the communities we serve. To put this belief into action, we are proud to collaborate with a range of charities that align with our mission and values. Below is a list of the remarkable organizations we work with, each playing a vital role in enriching lives and fostering positive change in our community.

Angel Tree

WCCB Charlotte and The Salvation Army operate the Angel Tree program to provide Christmas assistance to those in need in our community. Families register children age 12 and under to receive new Christmas gifts for the holidays. Once registered, each child's information is placed on an angel to be adopted. Individuals, families, groups, and companies are given the opportunity to adopt angels and purchase Christmas gifts for these children. All gifts are then returned, sorted and distributed to the families prior to Christmas Day. Through the involvement of the community, many lives are touched and much joy is spread through the Angel Tree program. Because of your continued support, we were able to sponsor three local children and make their 2025 Christmas truly magical.

Love Memorial Elementary

Love Memorial Elementary School, located in Lincoln County, North Carolina, serves as a vital educational hub within the community. As a Title I school, more than 40% of its students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, reflecting the school’s dedication to supporting families with economic challenges. Love Memorial’s mission centers on ensuring that every child—particularly those from low-income households—has access to a fair, equitable, and high-quality education. The school strives to create a nurturing environment where all students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally while receiving the resources and opportunities they deserve to thrive. Thanks to your support, we were able to donate $1,250 to support so many meaningful projects—like the GaGa Pit, new soccer goals, the Outdoor Classroom Fund, a basketball goal, savings for a new playground, birthday ice cream for every child, a back-to-school lunch for our teachers, landscaping around the Spirit Rock, and even Santa pictures for every student.

For Amber, the cause of autism and supporting individuals on the spectrum holds a deeply personal significance, as her son Jacob, who has autism, is a shining example of the remarkable potential within this community. Currently enrolled at Winthrop University, he is majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Physics, with aspirations to pursue a Ph.D. Amber’s experiences as a mother have profoundly shaped her understanding and advocacy for those on the spectrum. Witnessing her son’s journey and achievements has reinforced her commitment to championing the needs and talents of people with autism, underlining the importance of creating supportive environments that foster their growth and success. Amber’s dedication is not just a personal mission; it’s a testament to the extraordinary capabilities and diverse strengths of individuals with autism.

Autism Strong Foundation

We understand that raising a child with autism can be very expensive and that many families struggle to afford the necessary treatments, therapies, and equipment. We come alongside families to provide financial assistance to help them pay for these expenses, which can make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. Autism Strong can be a valuable resource for families residing in the Greater Charlotte Region facing financial challenges as they raise a child with autism.

We have partnered with the Autism Strong Foundation to set up two yearly college scholarship funds for $1250 each named The Jacob Rodriguez Scholarship.
